When implementing a continuous improvement process, the rubber hits the road with the supervisors. Supervisors are normally the ones who get pinched in the middle between hourly employees wanting improvements to be made and managers expecting results. Not all supervisors have been trained to support a continuous improvement process. Our supervisor coaching program works with supervisors to ensure the following:

• A team concept is established and the crew or shift is treated like a small business
• Individuals in the team identify and work with each other to improve interpersonal and technical skills
• All aspects of the continuous improvement process are clearly understood and supported by all team members
